Host a Hidden Rivers Event
Now scheduling events nationwide
Hidden Rivers is a 1-hour film that explores the rivers and streams of the Southern Appalachian region, North America’s most biologically rich waters. The film reveals both the beauty and vulnerability of these ecosystems, and how many people are finding ways to protect it.
We believe the most impactful way to experience and share Hidden Rivers is through theatrical and community screening events hosted in local communities by local organizations. Since 2019, we have held over 300 live and virtual Hidden Rivers screening events for local communities and interest groups of all kinds (see options below), and we have witnessed the power of this film to build a broader discourse around aquatic biodiversity needs in the Southern Appalachian region and beyond. We offer various ways to work the film into your community, event, or venue, and we work to help you conduct and promote an effective screening event, whether as a program offering, fundraiser, or celebration.
